A most enjoyable weekend, many thanks to the hard working organisers and stewards, that arranged everything so well.
The even is only open to Camping and Caravan Club members, but it was amazing the number of people that turned up, it makes you realize just how big the Club membership is.
The event is laid on by the Dorset District Association and organised and run by volunteers, so a big hand to them, for their efforts.

A great group of very dedicated people who travel around the various shows putting on dioramas, and shows, acting out little bits of western life.
Lots of shooting and noise, as well as some very accurate clothing and history telling.
The group did a fashion parade as part of the show in the marquee, showing different types of clothing, worn by the different type of people living in the wild west.
It was also nice to chat to the various members of the group when they were ensconced in their own little camping area at the show.
Clarrie goes Country

We arrived on the Thursday afternoon, on a lovely spring day, set up camp and settled down to enjoy ourselves.
We had a thoroughly good week end, in spite of having to leave a bit early because of me being a bit unwell.
The evening entertainments, were great and the marquee was full pretty much every night, it was a bit chilly on the Thursday night, and out gas heater is a bit noisy to leave on overnight, so it was socks and tee shirts and pull the sleeping bag over your head :-).
The rest of the weekend was much warmer, so not a problem.
